Just went out to ride the 1400, turned the key on and got the normal instrument checks then pushed the starter and lost all power. Right now it's dead, I ran a few searches and can't find anything similar. Headed for the garage for the usual checks but was hoping someone has an idea. Haven't done anything unusual, got 20,000 miles on her. I did add heated grips several months ago and washed the bike a few days ago but I have ridden it since. Thanks

Got it started. Pulled the battery checked ok for voltage and load, Pulled and checked all fuses for continuity, pulled and checked all relays as well. Used contact cleaner on everything, disconnected the computer and tilt switch cleaned all those contacts as well. Battery terminals were clean and tight before I did all that. ??

Chasing grounds can be a mystery and all kinds of strange things happen. I did notice that the trickle charger adapter was loose on the positive side of the battery, Didn't think much about it but it could have been hitting the frame and changing the ground path? I hate it when you "fix" things and have no idea what happened.
