I own Norge 1200 GT 8V 2014 and on the Bike Dash board appear SERVICE and red warning light. The Engine runs smoothly, with out any problem. I've contact with Piaggio Technical Service about the problem, and after checking the video and photo that I've send them, they decide that the problem it's the ECU, I replace the ECU and nothing Changed on the the Dash board.
If some one familiar with this 'll be more than happy to hear how he resolved this issue.

Is it telling you its due for a service, you can reset the service light, with regards to the red warning light have you checked for error codes? How did Piaggio come to the conclusion it was the ECU?

You need to learn (unless you already know) how to enter the service code and read the diagnostics (error codes) in the dashboard menu. Something as simple as a poor (corroded?) electrical connection, or the ground for the ecu, can cause a "SERVICE" alert. Some of them can be "nuisance alerts" caused by small glitches in the by now 8 year old wiring harness, or it can be more serious.
As it looks like you are fairly new to the forum, try doing a search regarding your question. Many members have struggled with this and found solutions. Shame about the new ECU$$$.
