$15.96 set of 50 watt mini halogen lights from Wally World mounted on the Norge's crash bar mounted with a set of 1 inch PIAA bar mounts, wired to a water proof toggle switch mounted next to the ABS switch. Power tapped into an existing accessory 30 amp fused relay supply. Total cost not including the existing relay power tap was 65 dollars. Most expensive item was the PIAA mounts.

A set of Moto Lights $350 plus. $285 dollars will buy a lot of gas even at today's prices.

With a tip of the hat to Wayne Orwig.

Aaarg, and I don't think I'll ever mount those crashbars (I'd be squashing my knees against them) ...

How much extra lighting does this give you?

And what's that existing fused relay, one you already installed?

Nice, though...

To be seen during daylight hours better and I find my self on a certain eight mile stretch of road (It's the long way home but so entertaining ) at or after dusk, It runs along a river with woody overgrown marsh land between the bank and the road and is a favorite habitat of Deer and Wild Hogs (the 4 legged kind). So I am aiming the right hand light to illuminate the shoulder of the road better where the Hogs root through that soft soil especially at night. The Norge's electrical capacity is so good why not take advantage of it. Yes, I had previously ran a relay controlled feed to an accessory plug mounted in the fairing.
