Norton is back?

There's more info HERE that the Norton name had made it's way "home," away from the nice job that Kenny Dreer (click image below) did here for most of this decade. It will be interesting to see what happens for sure, but I certainly don't consider what looks to be a one-off custom bike as a "revival".

2 vastly different designs ...

The machine above looks very nice (except for the engine, sorry), but deviant designs (like a Wankel engine - or a Guzzi engine for that matter!) have a stronger appeal to me... I'm curious to see what kind of street-legal bike(s) they'll bring out in the end!

I loved the Norton rotary racers. They were some of the coolest racebikes I've ever seen, and I have seen MotoGP bikes and old 500cc GP bikes.

Hi Gang
The bike picture by racerx the 916/ss commando styed bike, was developed in the States by the previous American owners.

Personally I would ditch the twin shocks and put some proper susspenders on it!

The bike the British boys are going to race is the crieghton prepared Norton rotory engined bike.
It looks fantastic, who kows if it will once again take all before it.
I live in the area near Shenstone where the old Norton rotory was developed.
As a youngster on my trusty BSA C15 I used to follow the test rider around the lanes of Staffordshire.
I always longed for a Commando, I swapped the C15 for a Rocket Goldie , they were cheaper than Nortons at the time.
