Hi
I recently imported from italy a Nuovo Falcone.
I was wandering if somebody could answer a couple of questions.
First does the missalinement of the digits of the speedometer indicate tampering?
The bike is supposed to have 12000Km but the 1 is not totally out. I was wandering if this is normal or not.
Second how does one reduce the play onthe choke and accelleretor's cables.
Thank you

Personally I wouldn't worry too much about the alignment of the numbers. The speedo is old technology and not built to very exacting standards so a little slack / misalignment is not uncommon. As for the cables, I would expect there to be adjusters on the top of the carb. If there aren't any you should be able to get some from a Dellorto specialist and retro fit them....but you might have to shorten the cable outer to accommodate them. Otherwise make or buy new cables, in which case you could add 'in line' adjusters near the choke lever & throttle.

Thank you very much.
Would anybody know were I could get a readable manual for the Nuovo Falcone 500? The ones I dowloaded from moto-guzzi.it cultural association are very difficult to read.
Thank you

I just got one to host here, but it needs to wait for our site upgrade to be done. If you are in a rush, e-mail me direct and I'll send it to you; Todd at GuzziTech.com

Hi
I have been busy tuning up the beast. Now it runs smooth like a clock. I have come to realise that with my short legs there is no old Moto Guzzi which will be confortable (all italians most be tall. Just a minute there, I am Italian), therefore I want to sell this one. Does anybody know if there is a for sale forum on this side. If not can someone point me to sites that do.
Thank you.
