The Italian-made Fram CH-993 PL I pulled out of the oil tank is no longer available and I have yet to find a replacement that fits. The issue is the outside diameter is too large in those I've found with the right height and inside diameter.

Height 150mm
Outside diameter 66.6mm
Inside diameter 33.8mm

Any ideas?

Try Todd first, if he can not deliver, see what you find in the sticky at the top of the mono cylindrico section. Or you can try the big one in Germany. Search for Guzzi part # 32185.

Another thing I was thinking of; can you find a common filter that has the right diameters and perhaps a shorter height? I don't know how the filter is attached, but maybe the height difference can be fixed with a spacer (like a fat slab of aluminium with the correct out- and inside diameter) and extra gasket?

Stein-Dinse in Europe will have it. So, MG Cycle in the USA should also be able to get it for you as they are aligned with Stein-Dinse.

Thanks, I can certainly get it, as I too am a S-D dealer. You can also check with my friend Paul at Guzzino.com - send me an email if you need it and can't find it in the States.

Thanks. I have already ordered and received a couple of filters and some other bits from S-D so maybe next time. The shipping charges were on the high side so it would be nice to find a local source.
