Has anybody else had oil coming out of the breather on top of the gearbox on 2016 V7 11 stone. Dealer replaced the silver valve with one from a bike he had in stock. Is this a common fault or was I just unlucky. Thanks.

Probably over filled. If it isn't, use a good synthetic of appropriate viscosity. Synthetics tend to run cooler and not expand and froth.

Thanks John, I had the bike serviced by the dealer, he must have overfilled it and spun me a line to save his embarrassment.

Mine has puked. After a good highway run at 80-90 mph. They are sensitive to oil quantity. I put 500 ml in at first service, which was probably too much (some still in after draining). I serviced it again last season and added 450 ml, and so far so good. But not sure ive run it hard enough yet.

If it was my bike, I would do the same thing I did to the 5 speeds. Get a fitting the same thread w/spigot on it & run a hose up to the frame w/loop in it.
