When I bought my 07 Griso 5 years ago, I picked up a spare oil pressure sender. This was the one that needed an adapter between the block and the unit, as the original was no longer available. The other day my Breva's unit failed, and I installed this combo as a replacement. An awkward task to say the least. Had to remove the nut on the pivot bolt for the alternator for access, and it is a tight fit, but ok. A crow-foot to the rescue. The original female spade connector worked after heat-shrinking it.
Both my carcs have 100K km on them, so searching for a couple of spares, it turned out MG cycles have replacements now for the original, without the spacer being required. 12X1.50 mm thread. Not the nail-head, just a standard male spade connector, which works with the existing wiring.
Next time I have the airbox out, I will likely swap my latest handy-work for one of these, for easier access in the future. Cost is minimal.
Posting this as I have no idea how long these have been available. (Harper doesn't list them).
