Nothing standard. I suggest you drop the pan, take it to a machine shop and have a helicoil or time sert installed. It is critical that the thread repair is installed square so the sealing washer will seal the pan.

Here is a page that show time serts. A machine shop should be familiar with them. https://www.toolsid.com/time-sert/ Any thread of a helicoil or time sert that extends into the sump may need to be removed. An alternate repair would be for the hole to be built up by heliarc welding then drilled and tapped to the original thread size. Personally I would go with the metal build up and re-threading as it will be relatively simple with the pan removed.

It is welding aluminum and aluminum alloy with an arc weld shielded with an inert gas to prevent oxidation. Most welding shops have the capability.

I love Helicoils in alloy and also love the Stahlbus oil drain valve. I dont have them on my bike but do on my cars. Would work well for you.

Now that would be great on the Breva gearbox drain. It's always a messy job changing gearbox oil.

    cheers for that.

Pretty easy to change the gearbox on the 1100 Breva if you get rid of the CAT and put on Todd's Y pipe.

I realize that John. Where I live, removing the CAT will see me contributing to the policeman's ball along with many other requirements that aren't worth the headache.

Very true John. I have a friend who was pulled over for a loud exhaust on a Harley. No prob he thought, I'll put the OEM's on , get it inspected and swap them out again. Well they took photo's of the pipes that passed the inspection. These are now available for Mr plod to upload to the car. ...they won't be happy until we are all beige.
