Hi, I just bought a lightly used V100 from a local dealer. Shortly after purchasing I called my local Guzzi dealer to ask about ordering the factory side cases. He asked if I had the the two extra lock cylinders that apparently came with the bike, and unfortunately I did not get them with the bike. I even had had the dealer I bought the bike from reach out to the previous owner and he apparently lost them.

So the question is, when I order the cases, will they come with new locks and keys? The dealer told me they do not, but some searching on here tells me otherwise! Could a locksmith match them to my ignition keys?

Thanks for the help!!

My Norge has a different key for the top box also. I rarely use it, so it's not a problem.
I was looking at cases for an MV Agusta Turismo Veloce and the locks must be ordered separately for them also.

My bike came with two matched locks and my luggage came with two different sets of keys/locks that I did not use.

Correction: my side cases came with SIX tumblers and two keys that I did not use. I wonder if I could re-key the entire bike using these tumblers?

Same here - the cases came with six tumblers, but I used the two that came with the bike so they are key matched to the ignition.

Does anybody know if the tumblers that come with the luggage can be used to re-key the ignition and gas cap?

I can’t answer your question, but hopefully you’ve already gotten the luggage because I’ve been waiting for the top case since December.,
My top case finally arrived at the dealership today, and I'm planning on bringing it home next Tuesday, weather permitting.

I lost my right hand case and thanks to Dane of this parish I was able to replace it as he had one going spare. It came with 6 barrels (why??) and two keys. So one of my cases is on the ignition key and one isn't. I may change the one that is on the ignition key to the same as the other. Still be 2 keys though. I can live with it.

Mine came with matching locks, but the top case has a separate key.
