Guys,I have had the Oxford grips on my Griso 2v for a few months now and they worked well for a while. Now they have given up on me.I wired them directly from the battery. When I push the on button the blue light flashes once or twice on the unit and then goes off.I checked the installation guide which read that if there is not enough voltage from the battery then this will happen. But my clock read out of the battery shows 14.2-14.3.Any ideas?

My set on my Griso went shitty. I'd heard all sorts of stories about the controllers failing and didn't do anything about it over summer. Now the cold weather has started I did a bit of exploring with a multimeter and found that the culprit was the fuse holder. not the fuse, but the holder. I spliced in another one and they work again. (Shrug.)

I was warned off the Oxford heated grips. They sell spare components seperately.....a hint that you'll need them!

They have a 2 year warranty for good reason; the controllers fail repeatedly. On 2 bikes fitted with these grips I've had a total of 6 controllers - all replaced under warranty, though.
