Hello, I'm Ling and I run a car business in Gateshead UK.

I have a V50 and a Convert.

I found these, when sorting through my husband Jon's old stuff. They are seminar notes from Oxford Motorcycle Engineers circa 1980. The chap there (Ed Reid) ran a course if you bought a new Guzzi - my husband had a T4 - and these were the seminar notes.

Oxford Motorcycle Engineers were quite renown for Guzzis in the UK at the time.

I've uploaded the pdf on my own server - HERE

Really hope this is useful, for old Guzzis. I haven't seen these notes out on the internet before.

Wow this is wonderfull!

One can see the effect time has on vehicle maintenance procedures (mercury in nanometer, using gas to clean parts...etc).
This document reminds me of the apprectice program of VWoA in the '70's. Good stuff, refined by experience.
Thanks for posting it Ling.

John & Alex, yes, I like the very personal nature of the notes. I laugh when they say £30 ($50) is "very expensive".

Always good to have another perspective.
