I'll travel, most likely alone, to the nice Scotland, during the second part of July :)

Beware of the British; they are driving on the wrong side of the road. ;)

Isn't it strange, I can draw a similar map, just going in the opposite direction. How come
Son & I will leave one of the first days in July, with the Pyrenees as the goal. We'll see if we go that far. The purpose is riding only, but a new direction is always fun. We've been going down Eastern Europe quite many times, which had some advantages in terms of less traffic. But that ain't the truth anymore, as it seems like most heavy truck traffic there are on smaller roads, as motorways are toll roads all over the east.

Side-effect of European unification, I fear, holt!

When are you going to be on the road? You've probably seen I'll be headed towards the (eastern) Pyrenées myself. If on the bike, the journey won't be the goal as far as the going is concerned, but it'd be nice to hook up somewhere/somehow.

Idea is to leave from here Sunday 4th - I'll let you know.
When are you on the road?

BTW; You won't recognize me from my avatar pic. Meanwhile I've grown a a little older.

whoa, I clearly didn't read too closely. I'll be on the road end of July, until then it's still worky time ...

(ps: you've grown a pair of tits that don't hang since your avatar pic was taken, no? :side: )

If you have time when You get to Kendal Junction 36 take the A65 then the A6 right up to Carlisle then cut across country on the A7 up to Edinburgh. much nicer than sitting on the Motorway and you loop over the M6 several times so you can annoy police cars on the Motorway
