Wow it looks great on your bike! It is a nice looking rack, but it just doesn't fit on a 2015 V7 Special with out mods.I know exactly what you are talking about, i ran into the same problem. It was a major pain. What you basically need to do if you want to keep the grab bars, is modify the rack mounting brackets to make room, otherwise that interference does not allow you to line up the holes. Secondly, take the ribbed/webbed support underneath the fender and basically cut out a hole right next to the existing hole so that you have room to mount the second bolt. I'm telling you it was a really hard thing to do, but i got the damn thing on and I really like the results.. check it out.. i will send close ups when i get home. these photos i had in my phone already.
Yes I thought about looking into the H & B rack. I have a H & B rear rack set up on a Ducati Scrambler and it works and "fit" well.
Realize this is a bit of an old thread, but wondered if you are saying this rack fits with zero issues?
