What is an acceptable run out for the front rotors on an 1100ES?
My brakes pulse slightly when low speed braking. Run out is 0.25mm (0.011") and 0.10mm (0.004") with a dial on the inner diameter of the braking surface. 0.25mm seems a bit excessive for a non-floating rotor.
Does anyone know what the maximum run out should be?

Numbers mean nothing really, if you can't feel it, it's acceptable. If you can feel it and it pisses you off, its not acceptable.
Got sick of the floaters that aren't, cleaning buttons and scrubbing discs etc. for one short ride before it all went west again.

Seems Brembo aren't happy with Ducati/Guzzi/Aprilia requesting discs that don't rattle and only 4mm thick.
Genuine Brembo replacements are 5mm thick. BrakeTeck are 5mm thick and lighter.

At 0.004" (0.10mm) runout on my Norge I felt it and hated it. Had them warrantied. Only about a year old at the time. Maybe after GM not listening to Delphi that the ignition switch did not meet specs Piaggio will listen to Brembo and buy the correct rotors. Amazes me because what is the price difference to a manufacturer, pennies? Might even be cheaper to buy what they already make.
"Don't listen to Brembo. What do they know about brakes?" :)
