Reassembling the Eldorado

Well done. Nice work. I also found that the old style K70s front and rear work will with this frame and geometry when I had an Eldorado..

Very nice. I do worry that the front fender will hit the horns under full fork compression though. It would be a shamed to mess up that shiny paint.

You’ve got a sharp eye Amboman. That was a problem and I’ve already moved them up and back once and attached some rubber cushions to them at the would-be contact point. TBD if it works and I keep them but they are crazy loud which is what I want, especially on a bike.

Try mounting on each side from the bolt where the engine guards mount to the frame. They will be inside the upper loop of the engine guard and well away from the fender. It just take a bit more wire.

That was one of the alternatives I considered but I'm trying my best to keep them hidden given they're so large and flashy (if it were a Harley, that would have been the first choice).

I've got the original seat pan and wondering if it's something someone would want or should I just put it in my metal scrap pile for the recyclers. (I've also attached a gratuitous picture of my vintage Guzzis)
