Hi - I'm happy to report that my Norge now is housed in D.C. and (for the moment, at least) it starts, thanks to a new battery. (I've installed many of Todd's improvements, so when it starts, it runs very well).

I travel a lot, but I'll be in DC for about 10 days starting the 10th. I figure to do a little exploring on the 13th and 14th - and would be grateful for recommendations for a "1st ride" (or several) to get to know the area. Anything from 100 - 300 miles is a candidate!

This time of year(?), take your rain gear. It's been many years, but head west towards Fredrick or if you're up for big a ride, head towards Thurmont and Harper's Ferry. That's about as good as it gets unless you head to Skyline Drive. Hope that helps.
