I bought a 2009 Stelvio, but the seller only had one key, no problem, I thought. Turns out you must have the code to program the new spare key, of course the seller could remember the code. The cost to change out the key set was over the moon.

I have found a locksmith in Ft Smith, Arkansas, that can provide blank keys and program it using the existing key. The cost is a major savings over the alternate plan.

Had the same problem with my FJR 1300.
Locksmith read the original key code and flashed it onto a small fob that I then glued to a standard key blank.
Not elegant but a deal for $85
