Retired old Ducati

Very nice! Now that's an art form that I can understand. All you need is a fan and a hose on the exhaust so you can enjoy it from time to time Cheech and Chong style.
Now you can watch chic flicks with the wife and be looking at the bike daydreaming the whole time.

Nice. Great memories of my '91 900SS. In the winter of '92 at 70k miles, I flow ported the heads, did a valve refresh and fitted flat slides. You could sit on the front fender and not keep the front wheel on the ground. Back in my silly days, I told my friend I could wheelie it forever. He inquired, I obliged... on a newly opened freeway outside of Philly, he rode next to me for over 12 miles with my SS on the rear tire only. I put it down when I got bored. ;)
I sold it with 106k on it. Never had the bottom end apart.

Why GT-RX you old hooligan you!!!!

My first wife & I loved riding Guzzi & building small block Chevy's.
Our house was "decorated" with bike, car & engine parts.

We had a couple of bare blocks standing up on end with a thick piece of glass on top for a table.
Piston ash trays, flowers planted in 850 Guzzi jugs, you get the picture.

We would meet new people & I always had a silent laugh when she would tell people:
"Our house is decorated in Early Americana with Italian accents".

Just over 10000 miles on mine. She is a fun machine I just can't ride her more then 40 miles. This is an FE, #137

In our living room are my two old Ducati racebikes. One is a 750 SS that started life as a Cortez replica 750 Sport. The other is a 750 SS motor in an aluminum Harris SoS chassis. Back in the 90's we had a great time racing them in the AHRMA BOTT series in the mid 90's.

I once had my 1969 Ducati 450 Mk 3 D in the living room of an old house, long ago. Didn't get any pics, sad to say.

I had one of the few Ducati 400SS that was imported into the UK, fitted a single seat unit and got the motor "tweaked" by Baines Racing at Silverstone. Upset the neighbours in my cul de sac no end. Unfortunately it suffered badly from carb icing on my 35 mile commute during the winter months so made way for an ultra reliable Honda CB1000F.
