NO - Carburators, drum brakes and human operated clutches have served us for a 100 years
We don’t need any of that new fangled @#$& !

But seriously, I work in technology and software and sometimes those engineers and computer scientists are just making Shit up, for the sake of it.
THEN some *@&$#&$#&*$#$ Marketing Guy gets all hyped up about the idea, and how it’s gonna turn the company around but they have to get it on the street before the competition !

Even if there’s Bugs, as long as it sort of works “They will buy it “ we’ll fix it later...

I guess that it would be an extremely light pull :)

I put this in the category of "electric hand brakes" - what is the advantage of those??

    4 words…

    “BMW Servo Assisted Braking”

    ————————

An answer to a question nobody asked, resulting in obscene cost, ridiculous maintenance, early failure (out of warranty of course) expensive repairs, and an early death from production models.

I think this idea is the same. But hey, it’s Honda, builder of the legendary Goldwing, the motorcycle with 3 miles of un-weatherized wiring, hundreds of electrical connectors, and the worlds first ever “300 possible sources of vacuum leaks on a motorcycle “.

    Why am I not surprised.

Does anybody remember “Rugged Simplicity” design in motorcycles?
