Kevin Ash was a highly regarded, well respected English motorcycle journalist who sadly died during the South African launch of the new R1200GS last Tuesday, 22nd. There are plenty of articles and tributes online for those who would like to know more, or contribute to the message boards and condolences. I've met him and he was a great guy. He even liked my Stelvio, especially the black rocker covers!

He had just posted a typically intelligent review of the new California 1400 on his website: www.ashonbikes.com

Respect and RIP, Kevin. And to his family, our thoughts are with you.

Have read a good few of his articles, always interesting and unbiased. He'll be sorely missed.

A 'no nonsense' bike journo, who understood the Guzzi and its riders.
Will miss his DT, MCN...reviews. Deepest sympathy and respect to Kevin's loved ones.
