Rocker arm not moving

Thanks again for all of the advice. I was able to push down on the exhaust valve with the wooden end of a ball peen and get it to move. So the valve is not stuck. I will wait for the new push rod and should be back in business.

I will be using the 0.15 and 0.25 mm gaps.

While we are at it, I have gotten different numbers for the gap on the point. The Shop manual says 0.42-0.48mm, the guys at Moto International told me 0.35mm. Any thoughts?

Have you pulled out the push rods to see if there is a difference between the exhaust and intake ? there should not be any. don't discount rocker arm or cam issues just yet

As for point gap, the closer gap will give the coils more time to charge, but as the point block wears, the gap decreases and you may experience additional point arching. Personally I'd go with the manual of 0.42-0.48mm and I'd set on the wider side of the tolerance. With them a little on the wide side, you stay in specification longer and you only need to adjust timing occasionally. Be sure to have a good condenser, it will prolong point life.

Yes I have, I mentioned on the first page that the push rod was actually broken into two pieces.
