Cruisin' Guzzisti
Hey folks, I just received a Schott 141 leather riding jacket right from the factory on Thursday March 27. After a few try ons I decided it was the right fit so I clipped the tag off. Well, 2 days later I decided it's not the right fit but I can no longer return it to Schott because I clipped the tag. Size is 38.
2 days old, only tried it on a handful of times, never worn out. I have the box, tags, receipt everything (it's 2 days old!).
If you don't know Schott, I suggest you take a look. Schottnyc.com. They're the original, the first, USA made. They invented the Perfecto jacket that Brando, Dean, and countless other icons sported.
I'm getting a different size and need to sell this one ASAP. Asking $630 plus free shipping CONUS. That's over $100 off list price. Only $100 off because it is literally brand new and I need to recoup nearly all of what I paid. It's a great deal in my opinion.
Also, I Inspected the jacket everywhere and it is an excellent example (as you know there are always variants in each jacket): no loose threads, zippers are excellent, etc.
Go to Schott's website and look at the description for the 141. This is a riding jacket: heavy cowhide is just awesome to wear, single piece back, bi swing arms, underarm footballs, zip out pile liner for multi season use. It's an awesome jacket, period.
