Yesterday, five of us left by this route. We wanted to stay high and cool, and man did we ever. I don't thinkf the temp anywhere we were topped 55 degrees, even in normally hot eastern Washington. It was a great twisty ride, and even included a trip up the Spiral Highway outside Lewiston.

Normally wonderful US 12 from Lewiston to Lolo was marred by horrible road construction for the middle 40 miles but gorgeous as usual before and after that.
Here's our short but twisty route today:

Only 360 miles, so we should be there in time to do a practice blitz over the Beartotth Pass. Yeehaw!
Tom/Mt. Bob: We aren't swinging through Bozeman, 'cause that meant more freeway than I wanted to do. I'll try to check my phon, but I do not know how to text. I'll try to have someone show me today. If you want to meet in Red Lodge, we'll be at the Yodeler Inn. We'll pull into Salida Thursday evening.
