Couple of hopefully simple ones.
Has anyone bled the clutch fluid. I'm at 12500 miles so figure I should replace with fresh fluid. The bleed nipple being hidden between the sub frame and seat plastics makes access difficult. Just wondering if I have to remove the tail piece?....all those bloody screws!
I'd also like to know exactly how the rear brake pad pin is removed (the manual is no help). Had a quick look at it when I had a new rear tyre (tire) recently, but was loathed to force it as there is only a small amount of pin exposed and a circlip groove to be careful of damaging. I can see it can only come out one way, inboard, but not sure whether it turns or has to be tapped?

I take it this is on a Griso?

From memory I just loosened the screws on the tailpiece on the LH side and was able to wriggle the hose out easily enough. It obviously wasn't a drama as I can't remember anything making it 'Special'.

Why not just get a Hygrometer/brake fluid tester and checking the fluid to see if it needs replacing? 12,500 miles doesn't seem like much. I do mine every 12 to 18 months regardless of mileage. Or when the tester says it needs it.

Bleeding the clutch is a snap. I just pull the bleed end and it's rubber grommet from where it is under the seat. Then you can feed it out where you can deal with it a lot easier. I don't remove anything (other than the seat).
 
Yep it's a Griso, now 3 years old, and I've finished paying for it!

I'd removed it from the grommet, but had't thought to try and feed it down past the plastics.
It was late and I was tired (weak excuse).
Any ideas on the pad pin on the rear caliper? I'm sure that's simple too, I just don't want damage anything thro' ignorance!

pull off circlip,tap pin out.That clip is made of the weakes metal ever
