Our friend Rick in Nor Cal's GTV. I *almost* bought this one... he beat me to it. Words from him...

I believe I am finally over the hump on my long drawn out GTV saga.
Yesterday competing with Mother’s Day and yardwork I found a bit of time to roll it out and fire it up. In the first time since I’ve had it I got it started easily with NO CHOKE. Just tickling. I let it warm up a bit and ran it to the gas station to fill it up. Then I took it for about 2 miles on some neighborhood streets. She ran really well, no stalling but the lever friction dampers do not cope well at all with speed bumps! LOL!
Got her home and fiddled with the idle speed a little. The shifter is stiff but hopefully will free up with a few miles.
Setting my sights on the Rigid Ride, I believe next month. A nice local ride starting at the Alpine Inn in Portola Valley and heading out to the coast. Then back for lunch before parting ways.
