2 inches of snow on my hood when I left work.

14 Closed. Soledad Closed. Crest Closed.

I took side streets to Lake Liz.
It was a slow single file ride up to Bouquet Cyn.
There was a "Road Closed at Spunky" sign but I left the Lake Liz parade to risk Bouquet.
The Ranger has 4WD and Snow tires.

It was like a full on blizzard out there.
I-d say there was 5 to 6 inches of snow on the ground with more falling.

I drove past cars abandoned.
Some folk stopped on the road to put chains on.
Cars without chains were sliding all over.
I-d wait for them to slide off the road and go around.
Finally made it to Sand Cyn only to get my left rear light assy busted by a lady who left a right mirror assy on my bed cover.

Glad to be home.

:S fires:dry: floods:eek:hmy: blizzards:unsure: ...you know, someone could be trying to tell you SoCalers something about the ways you've been living:)

I had some of my crew working late who live in palmdale, they called me up and said they could not get home.... We're putting them up in the motel of their choice, and providing the finest fast food fare in appreciation for their commitment. They are not the adventurous type that you are Don

A piece of the storm hit us. Last 3 days on the news have been in "STORM WATCH" mode. All is over now and we got hammered...1/100 of an inch:woohoo: Sure glad I didn't have to go out in that stuff:)
