Just got it firing!
Have 1980 Spada. Stripped and simplifying all electrics. Have a meaty Husqvarna 701 3 phase rectifier regulator. Earth, positive to battery, 3 yellow phases to alternator output. Easy so far......there are the purple and blue wires from alternator to energise the non permanent rotor however. All standard wiring and clocks binned, no warning light or 100 ohm resistor etc.
What is connections for the two wires, to get the alternator to fire up? Would assume one wire to earth and one to switched positive via the 100 Ohm resistor?
