starting a family

I'll resurrect this thread...
So about 3 weeks after starting this discussion I found out we were having twins! Can you say "Holy $hit!"
Anyway, I'm excited, extremely busy, and the wife isn't working anymore so... I think I have to say goodbye to the toy for a little while (18 years?). It doesn't help that the wife has a panic attack every time I'm on it either.

Check out https://www.guzzitech.com/forum/162/6436.html

Congrats to the other fathers here...

Dan

With two little fellas running around I do not think you will have any time left for the toy... :silly:
But do not worry, there will always be around toys for big boys! B)

Double Congrats!

I have a family. Four Guzzis and a Triumph. Oh, and a wife who loves to ride and hates kids.

Currently, that is. We're always open to the possibility of a future adoption, possibly another Triumph.

When we got married, I didn't have a car.. <shrug> I've always had a motorcycle since leaving home. The old man wouldn't let me be near them or airplanes. "All them's good for is to getcha killed, boy.."
Maybe some day, one of them will..
So. She knew the job was dangerous when she took it.

When we got married neither I had a car - I actually even had no license for driving a car, only for a bike - but my wife did. We didn't succeed to locate it in the weeds before fall, though.
Motorcycling was down for some years, though, when the kids were small. There was simply no time for such pleasures, as we worked full time both of us. I've never been a fan of small trips.
But today, after 33 years of marriage, my son is a dedicated motorcyclist, and we're happily travelling togeteher. Wife and daughter never wanted to participate, and that's just fine for all of us.

Strewth twins will be lots of fun, hard work, hand wringing and a big pile of various other stuff all rolled into a hectic life :p :p next thing you know there will be more   .
I kept my first Guzzi tho' not on the road. and the kids had a motoX or two to learn on.
My three kids are all grown up now and I still miss haven' em around sometimes. :( :)

My oldest son rides a Triumph and his newly wed bride a M V Augusta.
My daughter doesnt ride but has been on numerous trips on the T3 over the years, spends all her spare cash on international travel.
My youngest son is 2/3rds way through his undergrad course after a working gap year that earnt him enough $ for a brand new Hyosung bike to see him through uni.
My wife rides a yellow monster tho' not so much these days especially during the winter months.
I have the two Guzzis and the Yamaha (for sale now)
This biking life continues and I'm a happy man B) B)
