Stelvio front suspension?

Hi Guys,

Just a quick question.

Can anyone point me to the tech specs for the front forks? IIRC they're Marzocchi's, right?

Cheers,

Steve

They are indeed 50mm Marzocchis. I can get any of the internals or different springs for them as I am/GuzziTech is a Marzocchi U.S. dealer. I know little about the internals yet, even the springs, but if you care to pull one and measure it I can run from there. What exactly are you looking for?

Todd,

I'm starting to acquire parts for a special, will be wanting the complete units + the front wheel..Maybe.

At this point I'm trying to get the specs + the cost. If they're silly money I'll have to shop around a bit more, might go for something else, or scavenge the forks off a broken one, should it appear. I'm aiming at a similar seat height to the Stelvio.

Do you happen to know what the rake/trail of the Stelvio is?

All the best,

S

They'll be pricey new for sure.

Wheelbase : 1,535 mm
Trail: 125 mm
Headstock angle: 27°
Steering angle: 34°

Thanks for that. I spoke with Marzocchi directly this morning, said the 50mm units were an OEM part and not for sale direct to the public..I couldn't help but

I've also been looking at the 45mm USD WAD forks from the BMW HP2...Tho I've still yet to find if these are made by BMW themselves? The stanchions have a really nice blued finish on them. If eventually all else fails I guess I'll have to get a set of road bike USD's and get the stanchions extended for the height I want. It's all on the drawing board still.

I have a HP2 Megamoto. Marzocchi there as well. Have you considered having the guts of your forks replaced as opposed to replacing the whole fork assembly?
