Morning All
I'm just about to do this job on my B1100 and am getting tooling an the like in place but I have a couple of questions
a) I don't have roof trusses in the garage that I'd be prepared to trust to hang the back of the bike from.
SO... (with the bike on the side stand) can I remove the 2 side plates/peg hangers and replace the bolts securing the center stand thus allowing me subsequently to use the center stand to remove everything else?
b)
F500 - any chance of some pics of the tooling you made? I'm under no illusion that mine will NOT need removing so it would be very helpful
Stand fast - I've just found the pics on sheet 2 of this thread
c) When it comes to reassembling, does the bevel drive have to be off to refit the cardan shaft?
If you don't it seems to me that it'll flop to the bottom of the swing arm and you wont be able to pick up on the splines
Cheers

....Apart from having to make up a few service tools to remove bearing cups from frame and to install new it is very easy to work on......
