Stupid Jackal gas tank Q.

I pulled the gas tank so I could clean my K&N air filter and the hose to the breather tube was still attached to the tank when I lifted it off the frame. What does the business end of breather hose attach to? TIA!!

On USA Guzzis there are usually one or two tubes from the gas tank. On newer bikes there are usually two tubes, they connect to a canister set up for catching said harmful fumes. On older bikes or bikes that have been de-canistered they may not have anything on the other end of the tubes and they usually just hang down somewhere safe (i.e., not directly in front of the rear tire).
You could vent it to the airbox, but I don't think that is where your gas tank vent line went originally.
I could be wrong, but I don't think I am.

Just one drain line in the middle/back is for the gas cap drain, and goes to the ground... It's for over-fill or water in and around the gas cap internal area.
The tank vents through the cap.
The front line is of course the return line for the fuel pump/regulator.

Todd, I know you have a Jackal, but is is the same as the EV tank. The center is as you say and overflow drain. There is a second vent line near where the regulator and fuel return fasten to the tank. That line has the one way valve for allowing air into the tank, and not to allow fuel out. That troublesome feature has already been removed if it is the Jackal I worked on in Pelham at Terry Ware's shop. Both lines just need to go to atmosphere without any connection.
