Swingarm Pivots

I'd like to check my swingarm for grease. It looks like there are just some pins that fit into bushings on the transmission. Is this correct? If so, could I take some weight off the rear end, remove them one at a time, and grease them?

Greasing the pins will not do much, you need to grease the bearings pressed into the transmission case.

They are sealed bearings like you have in your wheels so there is nothing to grease. They are not the typical needle bearings you find on other brands.

Just yesterday I removed the rear drive and swingarm from my 1981 V50 for service and cosmetic refurbish. I am certain the swingarm has never been off the bike yet it came off with no drama after 31 years.

Thanks for that. The "manual" I've been looking at gives me no indication as to what's in there. It just tells me how to take it apart. I'll let it go then and find something else to be anal about (or not).
