Swiss and French Alps

A few days later I visited Lake Como Italy, the birthground of my Guzzi, with such a scenery it's no wonder that Guzzi's are so wonderful

Hmm puts our "little"mountains in perspective!!

It's amazing how the species of trees change the look and feel of the landscape around the world, and just when I thought I was going to get more pics of mountains (where is the snow BTW) you popped up at Lake Como in Italia - nice detour!

The pic of the B by the lake looks like an advertising photo shoot set up - nice! MAybe you should send it to Guzzi for inclusion in their next brochure.

Well Mike, of course we have snow on the mountains in Europe. This is a picture I took when I was driving in my truck from France to Italy. It's the Mont Blanc. (appr. 4800 m) You drive through the mountain by a 11 km long tunnel. There is no road over this mountain.

At Moto Guzzi they prefer a young, handsome Italian girl to advertise their bikes. (I fully agree with that :p )
Instead of an middle aged, less handsome Dutch fellow...

Hmmm, check out the ad material for the Norge, then — the guy's middle-aged at least, and blond! ;) (but he doesn't [appear to] hold a ciggy in his hand either :p )

Besides... no mountains in the Netherlands? A fellow dutchmen who doesn't know the dutch mountains??

You might even enjoy the Stelvio, the snowy one:
