Hi guys, Steve here. I have been seeing cafe customs built from T3s and other Tonti framed Guzzis with late model USD (upside down) forks but usually don't find where they tell what bike the late model front-ends come from. There are enough of these swaps done that I figured I could find some suggestions here as to which ones work best and what is involved with doing the swap. Ideally, the complete front end w/ brake setup would be used. Any help would be appreciated. Steve (Fossil)

Hey Steve, met you last year 'Meet & Greet' in Chat. Most I have seen are using a Suzuki GSXR front ends because of availability and price. I used a 95 Sport 1100 on my LM3 just to keep it Guzzi.

Hi Fossil, I’ve done it using the ‘00-05 V11 Sport front end; https://archive.guzzitech.com/thebikes/ToddsJackal.html — also to keep it all Guzzi (also). Look for a complete front end with brakes. You’ll have a small challenge with the gauges and related. It also depends on your head tube length as to the fork clamping surfaces of the newer front ends. 7” is the standard tube length on modern bikes. Big thing is having a stem made to fit, or machining shims to make your T stem fit. If interested, I do have the front end of my Jackal available, but it would need a total refresh as it has a ton of age and miles on it. This is what I’m doing with it now; https://guzzitech.com/forums/threads/gtm-01-5-jackal-3-0.18604/

And guessing you didn’t yet see my new builds; www.GTMotoCycles.com
