I was able to test ride a V100 S at AF1 in Austin this afternoon. I got the call on Friday that they received ten bikes, (with on being mine). Should be able to pick it up on Tuesday or Wednesday.

I rode the test bike for about 10 miles on city streets, some a little windy, and the highway. The test bike only had 65 miles on it so had to take it easy. Great low in torque, very nimble, front break is very touchy, one finger or very lite on first take up, quick shifter worked great up and down, suspension seemed too soft, but I was not able to adjust it on the test ride, rode in sport, road, and rain great riding position with a sporty feel, GREAT exhaust note with a little burble on decel. All in all I loved it, (first time on any Guzzi, have had several BMW's...)
I did feel heat at my ankles from the exhaust pipes, more when leaving a stop light. The wings made a little difference, but the windshield was a big help in the up position, (I am 6'2")

Hope everyone gets there's soon as well!
Don

Thanks for the update. I've got an appointment to test ride one next Sat. My ordered bike has not yet arrived. Enjoy your new bike and be safe.

I saw a post of yours on another thread. I ran up there from the San Antonio area when Sean told me that they had the demo bike ready. It was worth it!

Don't forget to post some pics once you get yours. Which color did you go with? You mentioned you've had a few BMW's? That is what I'm riding now, a 2019 R1250RT. I'm hoping this bikes appeals to me so much I have to buy one. :)

I looked a BMW RS's, but it just did not do it for me, hence the V100!

I had a '16 RT and have a '16 GSA and a 2020 Thruxton RS right now. I got the two tone green, picks of mine are in the first post.
