The fuel pipe between the pump and filter has been known to come off. Had to rescue a mate with this problem a couple of weeks ago in France. Subsequently a couple of others said they had also experienced this.

Point being, one wrote to Guzzi UK about it, and they said they had never heard of this ever happening.

So what is the frequency of this?
(We're not talking of the plastic filter blowing out, that happens in the UK too, and we don't have ethanol.)

No. Never heard of it. Never happens. I especially haven't heard of it happening on any of the Calis with the filter in the tank, (2003-on.) or any of the Grisos, Brevas or Norges sold before they started cable-tying the flter to the pump. Nope. No Sir-ee Completely new one there. Who'da thunk it! Must be a one off........

Or not!

Nice to see quality's improving eh?

Did a boot replacement on John's Stelvio today and too the oportunity to add a bit of grease to the swingarm bearings and linkages. Methinks I'll be doing that to the Griso soon
