Cruisin' Guzzisti
...a tale of two Bassas:
It was a beautiful day here in The Hills for a Sunday Ride out through The Boston Mountains.
Marcia and I met up with Peg at "Pizza Junction", just East of Fayetteville at Elkins...
Comparing the twins:
About 10am we headed East on AR-16...
No traffic on one of the nicest motorcycling roads in The Country!
At Fallsville, AR-16 joins with AR-21 for a few miles to Edwards Junction.
At AR-7, we head North...
Our lunch destination for the day was Cliff House Inn. It's a few miles South of Jasper on AR-7 and well worth seeking out for a meal if ever you're riding here in The Hills.
After digesting on the back porch enjoying the view, we headed back South on AR-7 to Lurton and the popular AR-123.
The switchbacks down into Mount Judea:
At Vendor, we turn on AR-374 and head North back to AR-7:
A stop for fuel in Jasper, then it was AR-74, AR-43, AR-21, US-412, and AR-45 back to Fayetteville! A little more than 200 miles and lunch in about 5 1/2 hours on a beautiful October day!
