I may have to buy a V7 III just so I have an excuse to buy one of these helmets!

I've been an Arai guy most of my life, but these new Bell Bullitt retros just push my button. I think they are so cool, especially the bubble shield.

They remind me of sitting on the gas tank in front of my Dad's lap, wearing his huge Bell helmet on my tiny head, hanging on to the handlebars and having the time of my life roaring up and down the street, while my mother turned a ghostly white in sheer panic.

I can still hear her yelling at my Dad, "Gene!!!!"

I've been running a Bell Bullitt for more than a year now. It's lighter than my cheap Scorpion "commuting" helmet and flows a lot of air. Two things I like about it is you get a heck of a lot less wind buffet on a naked bike and the peripheral vision is great necessary when avoiding pickup trucks darting across 3 lanes on the freeway. The replacement bubbles cost less than the new visors for my cheap Scorpion and it easily clears eye glass frames.

Also it is easy to set up with a Sena Comm.

With that helmet you could be riding an X-15 ( I think just us old guys know what that is:rofl:)

I may look like Neil Armstrong, but on a V7 III, I know for sure that I won't feel like him unless I'm going downhill in a hurricane:D!

Maybe one for my Centauro!

I really like the black with racing stripes.
Would look good riding the Mille & wearing that.

I wear mine all the time. It is dot and Europe standard tested. It is hiding on my speedo

I have a Bell 500 "Chemical Candy" version. It's my Distinguished Gentleman's Ride helmet. I used it with my '77 CB750 last year. This year I'll use it while riding my '75 850T in the DGR.
