thoughts on warm rough idle

update--

I dropped it off at the dealer and it turns out it was a bad o2 sensor. They fixed it. I will say that I ultimately traded it in on a Aprilia Dursoduro. So I'm still sorta in the family. sorta

WELL there's a hard left turn...

OK... best of luck with it and let's hope IT doesn't have a simple sensor problem.

But most of all enjoy and RIDE SAFE

Sorry to hear of your troubles. My V7R has been back and forth to the dealer since I bought it with intermittent bad fuelling, and it still isn't right. I had the racing/dying issue at startup, I have had it bouncing at idle from 1500-2000 rpm every second, up,down, up, down, etc. Currently it can be completely fine, or run sick as a dog. Its new game is to stutter at small throttle openings and up till 4500 rpm when it clears its throat and smooths out. Or stall without warning when pulling away. Very very very irritating. I only feed it 97 octane. It has had a new TB/ECU, which made no difference to the startup rev problem. Changing the O2 sensors, however, stopped what you're describing. The dealer kept it for ten days, riding it around, finally gave it back telling me it was perfect. Within 24 hours, stuttering began. His response: "I can't understand it". As the bike had been back four times in as many months since I bought it, I elected not to send it back again, but see how it goes. I'm taking it to a different mechanic from now on. The next service is in around 1500 miles and he will check the injectors... Please share if you find a solution!!!! Jasp

Hey, I got a '13 V7 Stone and now having the exact same issue, did you finally solved the stuttering problem?
