More Pics....Lone Star Motorcycle Museum - Vanderpool TX
You would never guess this is here....this close to the middle of nowhere. $6.00 to wander around and take pics. About 50 bikes, MANY Nortons, most in fully restored condition...Here are a couple of the better offerings. BTW MotoGuzzi was noticeable by its absence...
An Indian "4"
1958 Ariel "Square Four" I neglected to photo the concours quality restored, Vincent "Black Knight" fully enclosed body version...sitting right behind the Ariel
A funny thing happened as I was leaving the museum. I had the Guzzi parked out front, and as I walked out the front door a pickup pulled up and a man, his wife and his father in law got out and walked up to the California and said "WOW...I haven't seen a Guzzi on the road in YEARS!" He then proceeded to take several pics of the California before walking into the museum.
And remember, no matter how cool the road, always ride with in your comfort zone!
