With the newer Guzzi's with the throttle bodies, I am not certain how to adjust the butterfly's . Taking away the excess garbage that Guzzi had to put on the machines to enter the US, eliminating the stepper motor my Griso went from 3000 down to 1500rpm. I wish to get it back down to the proper rpm range. So, I need to close the butterfly's a mm or so. Any idea's

Thanks.

Doug

Sounds like you have a bit of a problem. Stepper letting in too much air for one but you stopped that issue. Are your air bypass screws closed, or with one only slightly open?

The throttle stop screw is not supposed to be adjusted. It will void the warranty for that TB. See this file https://www.guzzitech.com/MGGriso/Manual ... iceMan.pdf slide 97 to 100.

You will want access to an Axone, or VDSTS software to perform the job correctly. See slide 91 of above referenced file.

Graham has posted the complete sync procedure on the board. look here: https://www.guzzitech.com/index.php?op ... 44&id=6819

Doug it sounds to me there was a problem BEFORE you eliminated the stepper, as in why was it idling at 3000 rpm's in the first place. Am I making any sense here ? Did some one tamper with the scared screw ? Or eliminated too much slack out of the throttle cable ?

Hi guy's
Nothing was touched on the throttle bodies. No adjustments to the throttle cables either. I must agree, I believe there may have been something wrong in the first place but I am working it out thanks to you fine people.
