Thursday ride, now

Had a good ride with w, hooked up with jdgretz on his red norge, sucker goes nicely up Latigo.... w's scura pulled my good running griso easy through third gear. clearly, the new 2V as stock is not up to the V11 stockers. My Lemans made 85 rear wheel bhp, I bet my griso makes 75 at best, but it was really fun....

Nah, my bike's no more powerful-- red bull optimizes the shift timing. ;-)

w,
I'm callin you out son, roper's scura against yours, you've kicked my ass one too many times on your wanker scura, so I'm bringing ropers scura home and we'll just see how dueling scura's work..... pack a lunch son, you'll need it.... time for some humble pie:laugh:
Oh, and if Rich wants to see what the backside of ropers scura looks like, he can join too....

Jon, you're crackin' me up dude. I'm sure Roper's tricked-out Scura could kick my bone-stock Scura's butt. Not worth even testing, but hey we should have a Scura mini-rally when Rich gets his back together. We could get special jackets with grim reaper logos and everything, helmets with fangs on the front, real bad-ass, dark, dark stuff. Next thing you know, all the V11 Sport riders will be spraying primer on their tanks and painting their forks gold to fit in-- damn wannabes!

So, when and where??

Fun ride - here I was minding my own business, having a nice quiet ride, when I stopped in at the Net to get something cold to drink and I pull in behind not one, but two Guzzis. That should have told me something right then, but I stopped anyway. Well, the run up Latigo helped break in the new tires a bit more around the chicken strips.

Good meeting you guys - have to do that again.
