I am sure this has been discussed before. Apologies if so. I just picked up a 2007 Norge and I don't like the way it falls into the corners..having to pull it out. I think this is tires.

What are the best tires for the Norge...? Thanks

Just do a search. Tire threads are endless and highly opinionated as everyone wants and has different expectations.

Just had a pair of the Dunlop sportmax roadsmart3, didn't last long and alot of road noise, latest pair are the new Avon Spirit ST hypersport, so far very quiet, grip is very predictable, 2 compound rear tire much bigger some how cause I've had to take my hugger off

What Oz said. I have a '15 Norge. Came with the Pirelli Angel STs. They were ok until a couple thousand miles. Then the bike started pulling into turns... to the point I felt I had to steer it through. I put on a set of Pilot Road 4's, and with 7k miles steering predictability is still good. I personally love these tires - also have them on my ducati ST3S. Great in the rain (I just rode home from Tennessee in the downpour remnants of hurricane Cindy, and had zero issues with grip). Lots of good tires out there, but these I can personally vouch for on this bike. My next set of PR4's will be the GT version due to the weight of this bike.

jcjf, what tires do you have now?

When I bought my 07 Norge this spring, the dealer had installed ContiMotion Z tires on it. Not sure how good they are but I have felt a bit of slippage in the corners. Being new to this bike, I'm not sure if it was the bike, the tires or the road surface.

As for your question, what Todd & Tony said. I have 70K+ miles on my Norge with numerous combos of tires. I primarily use it for LD, 2-up, and 90+% curvy back roads.

The MPR4GT's are -- subjectively, with some verifiable objective anecdata -- the best, bar none, period, in all things that matter to me, with protect-my-pillion performance being #1.

As for your first comment, that trait is exactly why I find my Norge so charming. Obviously, YMMV. Vive la différence! ;)
