Just back last night from a 600+ miler/t to Zabawa on my new Stornello.
Ever heard of Zabawa? I hadn't, either, 'til I married a Polish girl. It's an annual Polish-heritage festival in Erie, Pa. Fun ... and inspiring.
Oh, and beer.
More here if you care: http://www.goerie.com/news/20170826/zabawa-polish-festival-opens-to-large-crowds#
Anyway, Kathi caged it; I used it as an excuse to ride some of Pennsylvania's great roads.
But this isn't about Zabawa!
And, I thought about adding this to the "Knight" thread -- https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/knight-designs-lowered-pegs.17637/#post-134399 -- as some might find this does as well what those do, especially if issue is annoying but slight.
Anyway, ordered a pair of Todd's toe pegs: https://www.guzzitech.com/store/product/gt-eccentric-folding-toe-peg/. Both my brother and I suffer from Fat Feet Syndrome, that larger boots, e.g., my Sidi Adventures, make worse, and lead to shifting issues. We were able to adjust the shifter splines on our Norges to compensate, but that was less easy on his new V7 III Special and my Stornello, thus the new pegs.
The pegs arrived near instantly, but didn't install on the Stornello until I had gotten to Erie. Todd no doubt wanted to scream at his monitor (and likely did!) when he got some of my emails with lunatic questions about the item. Most anyone else ordering these will not have the same self-inflicted challenges I had.
But, I did get mine on and am very happy. While the actual change may appear insignificant, the reality is that shifts are now much easier, even with the large toe caps of my Sidi motocross boots. My 300-mile return was thus much improved over the outbound leg.
The fit, finish, and overall workmanship are first class. Pix below.
Nice product, Todd ... and thanks for your patience.
Bill
Pic next below shows original (non-adjustable) peg and Todd's version above it.
Installed.
