Hi everyone
Yeh I am a little excited, tomorrow we are off on a 2 week ride from Newcastle to gold coast and back but of course not the same way you would do it in a car.
Had the Norge serviced 30k, new rear tyre, new cardo G4 intercom but more important FM radio etc. now just waiting for sun up.
The plan is thunderbolts way to uralla onto armidale, night 1. Then waterfall way to coffs and try and catch up on bathurst in the arvo with a couple of beers.
For the rest of it I wont bore you with the details other than to say I based the trip on my mates book "Bitch n Bitumen' 'NSW east coast rides' , thanks Brian for the lend enjoy your ride to Philip Island and the GP.
The rest of the way is as the book suggests back and forth between the new England hwy and the pacific hwy trying to stay off both. We end up in Burleigh heads for 3 nights to appease the lovely wife then back via everything we missed on the way up doing our best to stay off the highways.
The weather looks a bit ordinary, rain predicted, too late now to worry dear we are going.
So providing 'Suzuki of Newcastle' Graeme Boyd, has done a good service as they promised all should go well and I will regret paying the NRMA for motorcycle premium care roadside assist.
Bye for now Squardy

I am woffling on so I am stopping and going to bed for an early start. Yippee

Hi Squardy
Since you're staying at Burleigh for a few days you might try a few of the hinterland roads while you're there,
Springbrook to Canungra and out past Beaudsert,Rathdowney, Boonah and back to the GC is a good loop for a day.
later swagzz
