This is a trip I did to Nelson a few months ago, 1st long ride, well for me on the Breva, it went really well, no problems, will do it again come summer, below are a few photo of the trip.
This is on the Desert Road in the middle of the North Island Summer so the snow isnt very low, normally this road gets blocked. Tongariro National Park with Mt Tongariro in the background, an Active Volcano
The road ahead .
A panoramic vista
Me amongst the Lupins
Tying the bikes up on the ferry
Ten floors on the Wellington -Picton ferry , bigger than i thought and a 3 hr crossing
Entering Queen Charlotte Sounds at the top of the South Island
ferry destination Picton
A museum and a work of art, take your pick
Nelson
Waiting for ferry at Picton rtn trip , here it comes
All trussed up and no where to go
Views on the rtn trip in the Sounds
Nice place , how the other half live
Hello sailor

This is the other side of Mt Tongariro coming home
