Turn-signal arm broke -- '07 G1100

Hi all. I was riding my bike the other day on the freeway here in San Diego and glanced down to notice that my left-front turn signal was wiggling a little, vs. the right, which was rock solid. Thought it was odd. A quick, closer look revealed a crack. Within 30 seconds of that it broke completely and was just flopping around by its wire loom. I've never hit this part on anything; must have developed a crack on its own somehow.

When I got home I rigged a splint for it that will hold for a while. My question is, are these dealer-only parts? And does anyone know roughly what it cost? I assume the piece consists of the chrome housing and the bellowsy-flex part.
