Finally got tired of running around and Friday rush hour was starting to kick in. Nobody local I tried seems to carry much stock in mirrors and what I did find was too short (or, even worse, too round). Called and ordered a set of 1200 Sport units. It'll take a week but they're cheap and I know what I'm getting.

One thing I've found about them there Etalian bikes, your local vespa/scooter shop can seemingly order just about anything one needs for a bunch of different brands if you give them the part number. Excellent.

Couple pics of the 1200 Sport mirrors on the Stelvio. Boy what a difference. So much clearer and vibration is almost nil.

I picked up a set of 1200 Sport mirrors and euro turn signals yesterday at Pro Italia, my local dealer. As I'm a total moron when it comes to electrical matters (and, I guess mechanical ones in this case  ), do you use the same turn signal wires? As I haven't figured out how the stock mirrors come off without harming the wire ends/end-connectors, does that mean that I should get a new wiring set too? Thanking you in advance...

I cleaned the paint off and bought the napa sockets and filled them with yellow bulbs [ to be legal in Canada]. I just want them to be running lights not signals, so do I just tie into the wires from the small lights in the headlights?? Thanks Bill
