I'm going to sell the Stelvio. I will have very little time to ride for the rest of this year then I'll have to wait until spring time anyway. It'll be the first time since 1978 I have been without a bike, maybe I'll buy a winter hack just so I can keep up my 100% biking record...

It's not a good place to advertise here because you all have one... :D but if you know of anyone looking for one please pm and I'll get the details, photos etc. sent out.

Question is, where to sell, biketrader, MCN or ebay? Thanks.

Not so much where at the moment but when, August is not a good time to sell there are too many people away.
Nothing seems to be moving on mcn at the moment, there's a couple of older MG's I've been watching that have been there for a while, both overpriced, one has now moved to e-bay where it is getting a lot of interest.
I would suggest waiting until Sept. and then going for e-bay with a reserve. Trouble is there are a lot of Stelvios for sale at the moment.
Go on keep it, you know you want to.........................

Thanks for the reply. You're right of course I do want to keep it, after all I've gone through to get it running right it should be a keeper.

The bike isn't kept where I live, it's 25 mils away so hopping on for a 50 to 60 mile evening ride is out of the question, a lot of weekends are now spent with my two daughters who live with their mum and even on the weekends I could ride I still have to make the 50 mile round trip.

I would bank the money and wait until next year when I have a house with a garage then buy another bike, £?k in the bank will be the same next year whereas the bike sat there will be worth less if I decide to change/px it...

I'm not in a rush and I'm not desperate so it can sit there until I get offered a fair price. Cheers

Windy, a lot of folks land here in researching Guzzi and possibly a purchase. Why not list it here on the Classifieds? Hope you don't sell it, but if you do, hopefully you land in the Guzzi Famiglia again soon.

Thank you, I may just sit it out, had a lot of changes to my life style recently, maybe I should wait until next year when I plan on moving to a house with a garage. I love the bike and this site, the site has been a great help and a place of reassurance that once sorted the Stelvio is a great bike and good for many miles.. :D
